Idlewild Farm

Idlewild Farm

IdleWild Farm is a GMO-free farm that produces eggs from free range hens, pastured poultry, pastured and forested pork of Berkshire, Large Black, and Tamworth breeds, salad mix, and surplus vegetables and mushrooms from our family garden. We employ no-till, no – spray gardening methods that improve instead of deplete the soil. Building soil is one of our main goals and jobs as farmers.

We process our chickens on the farm. Check our website for upcoming dates when you can pickup a fresh chickens. We raise chickens February – November to ensure there is plenty of live food available for them to forage. In February before spring hits, we give the chicks access to the greenhouse where there is plenty of live food to eat. You can purchase our products at the Forest Farmer’s Market, The Well (in Bedford), and on the farm.

Please call or email to set up a time to come to the farm.

Practices:: non-GMO
