Briar Mountain Farm

Briar Mountain Farm

We are a small family farm located in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Our farm is located in southwestern Virginia and with in short driving distance to North Carolina, Roanoke, Lynchburg, and Blacksburg. We are about 3 – 6 hours from West Virginia,Tennessee, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Maryland, and Ohio. We raise, sell, and breed registered Purebred Nubian Dairy Goats and AKC Registered Anatolian Shepherds. At Briar Mtn Farm we strive to produce goats that excel in milk production, have a wonderful disposition and also with good conformation to have the ability to compete and win in Dairy Goat Shows. 2012 has been a big year for us, we did really well in the 4 Dairy Goat Shows we attended and we were able to earn Permanent Championships for CH Menagerieacrz Blu’s Big Galoot and CH Kismet Kameo’s Xclusive Koffee, we are so proud of our goats and how they did for us this year. Also this year we freshened two of Kismet Operator’s In Scharge’s daughters and we couldn’t be more pleased with how he is working in our herd. We also had another another very exciting first freshener this year and she is a full sister to Charger, Kismet Smooth Operator’s Sky. We added a new Senior Herd sire to our breeding program thanks to Holly Buroker of Hoanbu Dairy Goats for allowing +*B GCH Kastdemur’s Free and Easy to join our herd. We also purhased 2 new additions from Kastdemur’s Dairy Goats in California, a new Junior Herd sire Kastdemur’s Always Remember Me ( Kastdemur’s Time In A Bottle x GCH Kastdemur’s Always and Forever ) and a new doeling Kastdemur’s PB Enduring Legacy ( J&R Spirit’s Dakota Playboy x SGCH Kastdemur’s Mandalay Bay ). As always we would like to thank Jean Lucas of Kismet Nubians for her continued support and encouragement as we take our journey with our Nubians. We also make and sell goat’s milk soap and lotion and organic lip balm. Several years ago we expanded our product line to include bath fizzies and gift baskets for all occassions. We are members of the American Dairy Goat Association. If you have any questions or would like to get in contact with us, please email us at or by phone at 540-263-0658.
