Thornfield Farm produces and sells vegetables and flowers locally grown in southwest Virginia.

We sell our vegetables and flowers at local farmers markets, to restaurants and grocers, and through our farm share program. We’ve designed a convenient “debit-style” farm share program and online farm store. By subscribing to our farm share costumers get their choice of all our produce and a 10% additional value for supporting the farm.


Right here! Shop online, visit the farm, or come see us in Roanoke or at Community School in Hollins. We want to make buying our produce as convenient for you as possible. You can order anytime online and pick up at our farm stands three times a week. Ikenberry Orchards is a family owned and operated business. We have been fruit growers in Botetourt County for 100 years and hope to continue to serve you for years to come!Spring- We have a greenhouse fully stocked with annuals, perinnals, hanging baskets and a variety of unusual planters. We will custom plant in containers for you! Open April, May and June. Mums are available in the fall. Farmer’s Market every saturday!Summer- This is the time to visit for fresh fruits and vegetables! We have the most delicious peaches, tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, peppers and white sweet corn that keeps you coming back for more! Summer cooking apples are here! Farmer’s Market every saturday!Fall- Apples are ripe and frost is on the pumpkins. All of our fall apples are harvested in September and October. Come choose your pumpkins, gourds, decorative corn, apple butter, preserves, jellies and honey. Country hams, nut and candies are here for your enjoyment. Also, this is when our corn maze is up and running! Farmer’s Market until end October through Early November.

Holidays- Christmas trees, wreaths and greenery roping are available the end of November through the 23rd of December.

Southern States Roanoke Cooperative is a farmer owned co-op founded in 1935. We provide farm and home supplies for a five county area (Botetourt, Craig, Franklin, Roanoke, Rockbridge counties and the southern part of West Virginia). We provide: seed, fertilizer, farm supplies, feed, petroleum, and lawn and garden supplies. We will be opening a new 12,000 square foot retail facility during the fall of 2010 at 8709 Cloverale Road (alt 220/604) in Troutville, Virginia

Berry Ridge Farm

Free range eggs, specialize in gluten free baked goods, and other dietary items made be made by special request.We sell direct to the customer and can be found at the farmers market at Ikenberry Orchard in Botetourt County from early spring to late fall. We raise our own free range chickens for our farm fresh eggs, I am a Rn who has specilized in gluten free baked items. We participate with the Botetourt Family Farmers Market at Ikenberry’s Orchard in Botetourt County. Special orders can also be made by special request at other times. We use our produce to can a large variety of unique Jams and Pickles. Our produce is organic but not certified. We use certified organic or chemical free ingredients in all our canned goods and baked goods. No antibiotics or MSG. Most of our baked goods are made with local fruits or Jams. We participate in Botetourt Family Farms Market on Saturday’s as well as Catawba Farmers Market on Thursday’s.

Bryant Orchards has peaches and produce from late June through August and Apples September through November. We have fresh local grown fruits and vegetables. We also have homemade applebutter and jams.

We are located on 220 next to Daleville post office right across from Lord Botetourt High School.

Beanhead Produce

BBeanhead Produce, in Botetourt County, features quality, homegrown vegetables and fruits, including tomatoes, corn, green beans, cantaloupe, watermelon, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, broccoli and more. Brambleberry Farm
